5) A fascinating video that examines the role of shamans in ancient societies. It features David Lewis-Williams, co-author of Inside The Neolithic Mind. It shows many ancient stone structures and discusses the concept that stone stuctures were bulit to simulate the caves where shamans were able to enter the underworld. It also contains a discussion of the acoustic properties of caves and stone structures and their effect on states of altered consciousness.

The video runs approx. 51 mins
