Below are links, from Rob Buchanan, to articles regarding:

1) An apparent mastodon petroglyph on boulder submerged under the waters of Lake Michigan. This is the same site described in my "Lithic World 2" e-mail.

2) A stone circle on Beaver Island, Michigan.

3) Research of an ancient site near Las Vegas using ground penetrating radar.

"Remote sensing techniques such as ground-penetrating radar (GPR), magnetometry and electric resistivity use non-destructive energy waves to locate subterranean archaeological remnants. The process began with laying out a grid system on the ground's surface to map out their subsurface findings obtained with the remote sensing technologies."

4) The world's most interesting ancient astronomical observatories.

One of the authors is Dr. John Carlson who was a featured speaker at NEARA's Fall 2007 Meeting.  One of the sites is the Big Horn Medicine Wheel in Wyoming,

5) A Google book extract from "The Original Vermonters". This extract contains not only a reference to Enosburg Falls but a statement that human remains radio carbon dated to approx. 10,580 bc have been found in Dutchess Quarry Cave near Goshen, NY (pp 18 - 19).

6) The Wikipedia cite to the Dutchess Quarry Cave. Field trip anyone?

7) Although the following have been circulated recently, here are two YouTube videos about Native American Stone Structures
