The Executive Committee of the Senegalese Football Federation is meeting next Monday. A meeting which promises to be under tension, given the ambitions of each other for the next elections of the governing body of Senegalese football, informs the newspaper “Les Echos”.
Augustin Senghor, the current president and candidate for his succession, will face another (not officially declared) candidate Saer Seck, his vice-president. The latter, not content with the posture of the president of the FSF who intends to re-emerge for another term, opposes and imposes himself as a candidate.
Another so-called candidate will also be there. This is Abdoulaye Saidou Sow, who also has undeclared ambitions to run for the presidency of the FSF. A choice to be made between being president of the Federation or Minister of State.
If, however, a consensus is not found, the division will increase from Monday April 26, 2021, the day of truth for all candidates, declared or not. Elsewhere, they will face the president of Generation Foot, Mady Touré, who has already declared his candidacy to run for a mandate as president of the umbrella body of national football.
