Manchester United could allegedly turn their attention to Torino striker Andrea Belotti as they seek another center-forward.
The Premier League giants are heavily linked with huge cash moves for Erling Braut Haaland and Harry Kane this summer, although the two number nine would not be required to leave Borussia Dortmund or Tottenham Hotspur for less than 100million of pounds sterling.
While clubs around the world are still reeling from the financial effects of the Covid pandemic, Chelsea – also agreed to be in the race for Haaland – has obviously reserved Belotti as another cheaper option.
Currently, Tuttosport guarantees Manchester United are ready to take on Chelsea for the signing of Belotti, and Torino are on the verge of admitting a fee of around £ 21million despite their release clause of £ 86.5million.
Italy’s current international deal with Turin ends in 2022, so the club would be required to allow him to leave this summer instead of leaving for free in a year, and the report adds that other Serie A clubs Roma, Napoli and La Fiorentina is monitoring all the circumstances.
Belotti has scored 12 goals and made six more for Torino in the 2020-21 Serie A season.
