Manchester United are supposed to be at the top of the list for Metz midfielder Pape Sarr.
The Senegalese international joined Metz from Senegalese Premier League side Generation Foot last September and made 16 appearances in the 2020-21 campaign, scoring twice.
The 18-year-old also made his senior debut for Senegal against Congo a month ago, and as reported by The Sun, several European clubs have recently explored the teenager.
The report claims Manchester United are currently leading the race for the midfielder, who signed a five-year contract with Metz when he arrived a year ago.
Pape Sarr has played in each of his side’s last 14 league games, scoring against Brest and Montpellier in back-to-back matches in early 2021.
There is also a supposedly solid interest from Nice, with Les Grenats apparently facing an intense task to keep hold of the youngster for the long haul.
