Hector Bellerin is expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window, as transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has indicated.
The Spain international has been under the weight of criticism regularly this quarter, and he is no longer Mikel Arteta’s best option following the new emergence of Calum Chambers.
Cedric Soares has also limited Bellerin’s playing time this season, and the defender has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain following his hectic season.
Currently, Romano claims Bellerin will seek new pasture this summer, and bearing in mind that Arsenal are determined to sign another right-back, they have yet to recognize priority goals.
Romano adds that talks have yet to take place on Achraf Hakimi, who wants to stay at Inter Milan, while Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey and Hove Albion are also not at the top of Arteta’s list.
Bellerin has scored one goal and four assists in all competitions this season, but he hasn’t appeared in any of Arsenal’s last six Premier League appearances.
