Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has reportedly accepted a five-year contract with Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old has spent most of his career as a key figure at the Allianz Arena, helping Bayern Munich win various national and European awards.
Nonetheless, regardless of his status within the Bundesliga giants, the Austria international has decided to take another test with his contract which will expire towards the end of June.
According to Sky Deutschland writer Max Bielefeld, David Alaba has indicated he will sign a long-term deal at the Bernabeu soon.
While Barcelona were also keen to recruit the talented player, it is claimed that the Catalan side are no longer in contention.
The talented defender has remained a Bayern regular throughout the season, making 41 appearances in all competitions.
