LFC target Daka allegedly commanded, report reveals

RB Salzburg would only charge £ 21.7million for alleged Liverpool target Patson Daka, according to Salzburger Nachrichten (via le10sport).

Zambia’s prolific form in the Austrian Bundesliga has caught the attention of Europe’s elite sides, like the Reds, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal, all of whom are expected to follow the 22-year-old.

With Jurgen Klopp having allegedly identified the forward position as a priority for the recruiting team this summer, one would imagine that the listed fee is not a major obstacle.

Given that we missed out on Erling Haaland of the same club – in favor of signing Taki Minamino, who is now plying his trade on loan for Southampton – surely we’d be silly to miss another potential gem this time around.

With the forward having scored 30 goals (not to mention 10 assists) in all competitions this season, Daka has already shown a remarkable taste for the goal, surpassing his total from the previous campaign.

As a striker’s age it’s exciting to think he’s nowhere near reaching his potential, and for the price tag we’d be foolish not to at least consider throwing our hat in the ring. .
