Teenage striker Folarin Balogun has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal.
The 19-year-old, who has been with the Premier League club since he was just nine, has scored twice in six first-team appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side this season.
New York-born Balogun, on target against Molde and Dundalk in the Europa League, has also scored eight goals in 18 PL2 and EFL Trophy games in the 2020-21 campaign.
The boss of the gunners, Arteta, thinks he has a bright future.

He said: “We have been extremely impressed with Flo this season. He has continuously shown his natural abilities in many training sessions with us and we were also impressed with his early integration into the first team on match days.
“He gave us an overview of the performances and of course his two goals already in the first team.
“The hard work begins here for Flo and we all look forward to supporting him and working with him in the years to come.”
Balogun played for the United States and England at youth level.
