Real Madrid are planning a bold move for Liverpool midfielder Fabinho.
The ex-Monegasque – who has been regularly deployed as an emergency center this quarter – has been one of Jurgen Klopp’s key figures this season with 23 Premier League starts, despite some puzzling injury issues.
Still, Liverpool are risking a season without Champions League football, and Fabinho is said to be worried about the current direction the club are heading.
As reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Fabinho could be available for a return to the Bernabeu as the Brazilian spent a season on loan with Los Blancos in the 2012-13 season.
The report ensures that a summer offer for Fabinho could be considered, with Zinedine Zidane likely acknowledging the Liverpool man as an ideal replacement for Raphael Varane.
Fabinho’s current deal at Anfield does not end until the end of the 2022-23 season, and he has racked up 117 appearances for the club since joining in 2018.
