If you’ve already logged dozens and maybe even hundreds of hours Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft adds a handy feature to save you time. With Valhalla Latest update 1.2.1, available today on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Stadia, and Amzona Luna, the studio is introducing a toggle that lets you turn off the short cinematic animations that play when your character performs a finisher (via Kotaku). It’s a big problem. Each animation only lasts a few seconds, but when you add up all the teardowns, you perform Valhalla, you spend a lot of time looking at the same finishers over and over again.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla title update 1.2.1 launches tomorrow: April 27.

The update also adds three new skills to the game: Cold Rage, Eye of the North, and Intense Rage. They will help your character ignore the game’s hesitant mechanics in a variety of settings, including when you are aiming their bow and doing melee combat. As has been the case with all the others Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Patch since the game’s release, the update also includes a long list of bug fixes. There are too many to go into in this article, but if you’re stuck on a specific quest, you might get lucky. Finally, 1.2.1 lays the foundations for Valhalla ‘s next expansion for Wrath of the Druids. Ubisoft previously planned to release the DLC on April 29 but ended up pushing it back to May 13 to give the development team more time “to deliver a more refined experience.”
