Burnley boss Sean Dyche has chosen Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp as the man he would like to have a pint with.
The Kettering-born boss has done wonders with Burnley after promoting them to the Premier League in 2017. Dyche guided the Clarets to 16th place in his first top-flight season before an unforgettable seventh place in 2018. And while things have not improved since then, he is widely regarded as a coach who exceeds his weight with the Lancashire side.
Another Premier League season awaits next season after dismissing the threat of relegation with one of the league’s smallest budgets.
Their rivals know that a match at Turf Moor is never easy and Leeds are the visitors on Saturday and will have their work cut out for them.
Actually the boss of Leeds Marcelo Bielsa complimented Dyche to have a very clear way of playing. It is a principle that Bielsa admires and that he also has, although different, with Leeds.
Dyche Told Sky’s Super 6 Podcast:“I’m going to eliminate those I know because I know some personally. I think Klopp could be quite interesting.
“I don’t know why, I just imagine he seems to like a pint or some version of it.” I myself am quite a fan of, say, half a lager on the right occasion.
“I think a lot of European managers can just have a few glasses of wine and have a chat – I think Klopp, we could probably lock the horns and try a bit.”

The Clarets boss was also asked which of his Premier League counterparts had the strongest handshake.
The 49-year-old couldn’t name one, however, and believes his salvation could be up there.
“People are commenting on mine. My dad always told me when I was a kid, if you’re going to shake your hand, shake your hand properly. No one likes a wet fish handshake, but I can’t tell you off the top of my head. There wasn’t one you just went to, “Wow,” Dyche said.
Dyche has played at center-back during his career, spanning over 450 appearances and ironically claimed he would have easily integrated Man City champions Pep Guardiola.
Dyche added, “I would have just made a place in there, me and (Aymeric) Laporte would have had it right away, don’t worry about that. I would have mixed this team for fun. I would have found passes everywhere, Pep (Guardiola) would have been lyrical, they don’t know about me!
