Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are said to face further competition from Chelsea to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez in this summer’s transfer window.
The Spain international, who still has more than five years on his contract at Wanda Metropolitano, is reportedly available for a transfer in the upcoming market.
Man United and Liverpool have both been heavily linked with the 26-year-old midfielder, while a recent report suggested Bayern Munich had agreed to a £ 68million deal.
However, according to AS, Chelsea have joined the list of clubs wishing to sign the prolific midfielder, with the Blues keen to improve their midfielder department ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The report adds that “there is no shortage of offers for the Spaniard, with PSG also closely monitoring the player’s development”.
Niguez made 41 appearances for Los Rojiblancos last season.
