Former Chelsea goalkeeper turned Real, Thibault Courtois confirmed in a last statement the future of Eden Hazard at Real Madrid.
Courtois in his statement stressed that it is 100% that the former Blues star striker will remain at Real Madrid despite the huge criticism he is currently facing at the Spanish club.
Hazard, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea for a whopping € 100million, fell short of expectations.
Since arriving, he has failed to find a place for himself in the squad and is battling relentless injuries.
He did, however, make Real Madrid fans angry when he was spotted laughing with his former Chelsea team-mates following Los Blancos’ loss to Blues in the UCL semi-final.
Following all of this, the Belgian striker has been linked with transfers to Paris Saint-Germain PSG and a possible return to Chelsea.
However, despite speculation that Real Madrid will sell him this summer, Hazard’s compatriot has insisted he will stay at the Bernabeu.
Courtois said in an interview with Le Soir: “I’m 100% sure he stays. He doesn’t want to move. Only the Madrid press wrote about the desire to leave.
“He wants to continue, play injury-free and win titles.
“At Real Madrid, there are criticisms all the time and for everyone. Gareth Bale was criticized, but he won the Champions League and scored a brace in the final in Kiev.
