The latest report revealed that Chelsea are set to sell Hakim Ziyech this summer despite having just spent a season at Stamford Bridge.
Recall that Ziyech arrived at Chelsea from Ajax last summer when former coach Frank Lampard was still in charge of the club.
However, since the departure of Lampard and the arrival of Thomas Tuchel as the new manager of the Blues, the Moroccan international has struggled to find a place in the first team.
For this reason, he has been linked with transfers from Chelsea to other clubs where he could have chances of playing regularly.
Calciomercato reports that several clubs in Italy are interested in the Moroccan winger.
During the season just ended, Ziyech made 39 appearances in all competitions for the Blues.
Although he managed to score six goals and provided four assists, it seems Tuchel doesn’t see him as a key player in his starting XI.
Ziyech has made 15 Premier League appearances and three in the Champions League, leaving his future uncertain at Stamford Bridge.
He also missed out on playing for Chelsea in the two semi-finals against Real Madrid and the Porto final against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.
Italian clubs Napoli and AC Milan are reportedly monitoring the situation and may submit an offer for him at the start of the transfer window.
