Former Chelsea and Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has finally secured a new job after months of absence from his coaching duties.
Reports have revealed that Sarri has made a deal with Lazio to be their new manager.
The Italian will reprise the new role next season.
Il Corriere Dello Sport has claimed that an official announcement could be made later today.
He further claimed that the two sides had agreed on salaries, with Sarri having offered a contract worth around € 3million per season over the next two years.
As planned, Giovanni Martusciello will move to the new club with Sarri.
It is no hidden fact that Martuscuello has formed a good bond with Sarri and has remained his staunch assistant since his stints at Empoli, excluding the Italian one season at Chelsea.
With Sarri arriving in Italy next season, the Italian Seria A will be a league to watch in Europe as it will be accompanied by massive coaching competitions, especially as former Tottenham Hotspur coach Jose Mourinho , will also join AS Roma next season.
Sarri was the former Chelsea coach where he gained ground with his football model known as the Sarri ball, however he was sacked and replaced by Frank Lampard.
