With this, the Gunners joined Man Utd and Liverpool in the race for the English player.
According to The mirrorMikel Arteta is keen to add White to his Gunners squad after being impressed with his development.
White has only played one season of Premier League football, making 36 appearances for the Seagulls in the last campaign in various positions.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with a player who could cost around £ 50million.
The versatile Englishman was recently called up to Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2020 after impressing in friendly wins against Austria and Romania.
With the 23-year-old still having three years on his contract at Amex Stadium, his inclusion in the England squad is likely to increase competition for his signing over the summer.

And considering Arsenal won’t be playing in Europe next season, that means they don’t have what it takes to entice him to join their team next summer.
