Chelsea have reportedly been linked with moves from Arcraf Hakimi ahead of the summer transfer window.
The report revealed that the Blues have contacted Hakimi’s agent in hopes of signing the Inter Milan defender.
Hakimi has enjoyed an impressive outing in the 2020-21 season for Inter Milan as he has found the back of the net seven times and contributed 11 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
While Paris Saint-Germain PSG have also shown interest in the Morocco international, the recent report claimed the Blues had gone ahead of them to secure his service.
Arsenal are also said to be interested in the defender who has 4 years left to play at San Siro.
According to Goal, Thomas Tuchel’s side have been in contact with Hakimi’s agent Alejandro Camano and his Serie A club, as the Premier League side look to strike a deal ahead of next season.
The report further claimed the Blues were ready to pay £ 56million for the defender, but financially struggling Inter reportedly estimate him closer to £ 70million.
Whether Chelsea will be able to accept the asking price and take the plunge this summer remains to be seen.
