The latest report has linked Man Utd and Chelsea with moves to sign France International Kingsley Coman during this summer transfer window.
While Coman’s current contract with Bayern Munich is set to expire in just over two years, however, some reports have pointed out that he is not happy with his salary.
Man Utd are hoping to capitalize on this as they have assured him of a boost in his salary if he can move to Old Trafford this summer.
According to Football transfers, the Red Devils are “definitely showing interest” in Coman, while UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea are also keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The report claimed, however, that Bayern had set an asking price of € 100million (£ 86million) for the French striker in hopes of getting the two English clubs out of a move for him on the current market.
With the asking price demanded by Bayern, it is unclear whether Man Utd can meet as they are still trying to convince German club Borussia Dortmund to let them sign Jadon Sancho this summer.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are focused on signing Erling Haaland or Harry Kane whose asking prices are also high.
